The challenge
Elite opened in 2022 in Sugar Land, Texas. On its own website it describes the aim as presenting Indian and Pakistani cooking as a refined, modern dining experience, with online ordering, catering and private events alongside the dining room.
The menu is built on dishes many guests already know: karahi, tikka, samosas, daal gosht, ras malai. That is a visual problem as much as a marketing one. Familiar food, often served in rich sauces, has to look as polished online as the restaurant says it is, and it has to do so in a feed where every other restaurant is also posting food.
Our approach
We started from the restaurant's own positioning and kept one look across the website and the social posts: dark backgrounds, warm gold lettering and a single dish at the centre of each frame.
Every post carries the Elite mark at the top, and the dish posts share the same footer, a reservation phone number and the website address, so each one works on its own as an invitation to book. Dishes sit on dark surfaces such as marble, wood and slate, which keeps the colour in the food instead of the background.
Headlines pair a script face for the feeling ("Satisfy your Desi Cravings", "Devour the Goodness") with a plain serif for the supporting line. Thin arrow call-outs name each dish, for example Karahi Qeema, Chicken Tikka Boti or Peshawari Karahi, so viewers learn the menu while they scroll.
What we delivered
The work spans the website, two videos and a run of social posts. The posts shown further down this page cover starters, mains, desserts and a catering offer.
- A website for the restaurant at eliteindopak.com, with the same dark and gold styling as the social posts
- A website showcase reel that walks through the build
- A social media reel for the restaurant's channels
- Twelve social posts shown on this page: tikka and samosa starters, karahi, daal gosht, mutter paneer and okra mains, fried fish, ras malai and ice cream desserts, and a catering offer
- One shared layout and type system, so web and social read as the same brand
Lessons for restaurant brands
- Name the dish on the image. A small call-out label turns a food photo into a menu preview and helps guests who do not know a dish by sight.
- Put the booking route on the post. A phone number and web address in the same place each time means a dish post does not depend on its caption to be useful.
- Style offers like dishes. The catering post uses the same logo and headline treatment as the menu posts, so an offer reads as part of the brand rather than an ad dropped into the feed.
