Wild Game Jerky: Food Creative for an Exotic Jerky Brand

What the posts had to do

Wild Game Jerky's own site lists a wide range of unusual meats, from alligator and boar to ostrich. A shopper often wants a sampler, so the posts sell bundles tied to the calendar: a fall flavour pack, Black Friday bulk offers, a Halloween bundle, Thanksgiving bundles and a stocking-stuffer set, and each explains exactly what is in the box.

The design

The brand look is loud and warm: bright orange, black and a rustic wooden sign style, with the round Wild Game Jerky logo in the corner. Headlines are set in a tall condensed display face, for example "Fall Flavor Fiesta Pack", "Black Friday Bulk Bonanza" and "Halloween Hunter", and each season shifts the background: pumpkins for fall and Thanksgiving, black for Black Friday, purple with a haunted landscape for Halloween.

The product photograph is the same pack row in every post, with elk, alligator, venison, buffalo and Maple Duck packs lined up so the colours and labels become familiar. Offers are broken into small boxes and tables: how many pieces, what is free, which flavours are included and how many of each, and a promo code where one applies.

Text is dense on purpose, because the posts carry the full terms of a bundle. Two posts shift tone: the Grazers Delight and Traditional Avian Adventure bundles describe each meat in a short line, such as elk, antelope and venison jerky or pheasant, ostrich and duck jerky.
