North Charge: Social Media Design for an EV Charging Brand

What the posts had to do

North Charge's own website describes chargers for commercial, fleet and residential use, from wall-mounted units to freestanding fast chargers. The social posts needed to make an unfamiliar product easy to understand and attractive: what a charger looks like, which cars it goes with, and why it is worth having.

The design

Two colours run through the set: a deep forest green and a vivid orange taken from the North Charge logo, an angled mark of that colour. Most posts pair a charger, shown close up on a plain colour field, with a short headline in white or orange, such as "Plug in and power up", "Charge fast, move fast" and "Electrify your journey".

Product shots alternate with lifestyle ones. Electric cars in white, orange and gold show the chargers in context, while a meadow at sunrise, an amber field with a network graphic and a glowing charger on a digital background shift the mood to sustainability and technology.

Three posts go beyond slogans. One gives an EV charging tip about avoiding a full discharge, one uses a glass piggy bank holding coins and a toy car for "Plug into savings", and one explains the difference between a Level 2 charger and a DC fast charger in two short columns for people new to EV charging.

Where it is used

The posts end with the line "Powering the future" and the address northcharge.ca, a Canadian EV charger retailer whose website we checked on 21 October 2026.
